Typically this type of examination is done out of water at purchaser's expense. Comprehensive vessel surveys primarily applying the Transport Canada TP1332E Construction Standards and American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) Standards and Recommended Practices: $29/foot.
A separate independent mechanical inspection is usually recommended.
